Meet Us

For You & Your Family

We believe we are unique service. The Cradle Club was created and developed following our own parenting journeys and the clear need for a new support service. Combined with our careers and experience as mums we want to help! We know the importance of being heard, understood and feeling part of a like minded community. Having a baby can be challenging! But Mama, we are here for you!

Meet Emily

I am a registered Children’s nurse and a specialist community public health nurse. I have worked in a variety of nursing settings since qualifying in 2010. I now have 3 children aged 5 years and under! In both my professional career and personal life I chat to so many Mums and Families keen for extra support. Navigating through parenthood can be challenging, overwhelming and a potentially lonely place whether it is 1st time round or even 2nd, 3rd or 4th time.  I began to question what can I do to further help and support parents and families.

I consider myself to be very friendly, approachable, and bubbly. I really enjoy socialising with my friends and now due to one thing or another my best friends are placed across the country! We meet every month or so and support each other. We share stories, including the wins and fails of motherhood. Or sometimes it’s nice to not always talk about being a mum! Being a nurse and having my professional knowledge and experience friends would sometimes reach out to me for advice.

The Cradle Club was developed with all this in mind and offers as little or as much as you want from it. From just wanting a little bit of help and reassurance to bespoke professional support and guidance.

While Emily is both a Registered Children’s Nurse and Health Visitor and as such, adheres to the NMC’s revalidation requirements, she will not be acting as a registered nurse during her work with The Cradle Club.

Meet Laura

Over the past ten years I have worked as a Primary School Teacher and school Senior Leader. My teaching and leadership experience specialises in the Early Years Foundation Stage, so I know first hand the importance of building the right foundation for children in their precious early years.

Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to become a mum to a little girl, after undergoing IVF treatment. Although it was a tough and challenging journey, I feel very blessed to have had a successful IVF pregnancy and I am so grateful for the gift it has given me.

Being a new mum has made it ever more prevalent to me that support for parents, pre and post natal, is paramount. Here at The Cradle Club, we aim to provide that support for all parents, tailored to suit individual needs. It could just be needing to have a cuppa with like-minded parents, or you may want advice on a specific aspect of parenting. We’ve been there and we are here for you!
